Hearing loops enable people who use hearing aids to pick up an amplified audio feed by switching their aids to a hearing loop setting. As well as being essential for face-to-face customer service at box offices and wristband exchanges, hearing loops can also be used to make spoken word and music performances more accessible for people with hearing impairments.
Our hearing loop is designed to cover an area of 20m by 20m or smaller, so is perfect for covering an event viewing platform or area, or sections of a spoken word or music tent at outdoor events. It is also suited to looping sections of a room to provide coverage for indoor spoken word or music events.
We have used this unit at our own Club Attitude gigs within various venues, and it has also been used successfully at a several London-based outdoor events at the Olympic Park and Trafalgar Square.
The system is designed to run from a mixing desk in order to provide the best quality sound, and is a great way of ensuring all gig goers are able to get the most out of any gig or event.
We are able to provide the necessary guidance for setting up the loop in any given space. If you’d like to find out more about our kit, which lives in a 2U flight case with everything needed to set it up including a cable reel, contact:
